ME News message, April 9 (UTC+8): Monad posted on X that the Monad Foundation will cover the cost of dedicated signing laptops for protocol teams whose TVL reaches or exceeds $2.5 million, to be used for multisig, vaults, and other critical operations. Eligible teams can contact the Monad Foundation to apply; the subsidy may require completing additional security training and routine KYC. Monad emphasized that the signing device must never be the same computer used for everyday tasks such as browsing the web, writing code, or attending meetings.

Foresight News previously reported that Monad co-founder Keone Hon posted on X, stating that protocol teams should immediately adopt a dedicated signing computer (dedicated signing computer) for multisig operations and should no longer use everyday computers. He pointed out that everyday computers are highly prone to being compromised. Once a computer is taken over, even if a hardware wallet is connected, the signing process may still be maliciously tampered with, creating security risks. In the future, the Monad Foundation may also introduce incentive mechanisms to encourage teams to adopt this approach. (Source: Foresight News)
