According to CoinTelegraph, Visa officially announced on April 9 the launch of the โIntelligent Commerce Connectโ platform, positioning it as a universal entry point for AI agent builders and merchants to access AI-driven commerce. The platform accepts a single integration through Visa, supporting secure payment initiation, tokenization, spending controls, and identity verification, and it is compatible with payments made with both Visa and non-Visa cards. It is also compatible with mainstream AI agent protocols. The platform is currently in a pilot stage and plans to be fully launched later in 2026.
