Wu Shuo learned that Nothing Research partner 0xTodd posted that the recent discussion by The New York Times about Satoshi Nakamoto's identity "is not valid." He believes the probability that Adam Back is Satoshi Nakamoto is close to zero because Satoshi once asked Adam Back technical questions via email in 2008/2009, with a natural tone; additionally, the early Bitcoin code implementation does not match Adam Back's programming style; if Adam Back held about 1 million BTC, it would also be difficult to explain his subsequent commercialization path at Blockstream. 0xTodd also added that Adam Back has publicly denied this multiple times and once expressed regret for not mining earlier; he leans more towards a "store of value" narrative and is enthusiastic about patent applications, whereas Satoshi chose to fully open source.
