Sport-related themes remained active repeatedly, with Nanjing Sports 20cm hitting its daily limit, and Shuhua Sports, CnTi Sports, and Go?Create Lawn also hitting daily limits.

On the downside, the large financial sector fell, with the insurance segment lagging the most. China Taiping and China Life saw choppy pullbacks.

Several stocks in the innovative drug concept weakened. Lianhuan Pharmaceutical touched its daily limit on the downside; Leimei Pharmaceutical, Run?do Co., and Guangsheng Tang fell sharply.

The trading value on the Shanghai and Shenzhen markets was 1.61 trillion yuan, a contraction of 42.1 billion yuan compared with the previous trading day.

On individual stocks, Cambricon traded for more than 15.5 billion yuan throughout the day, ranking first on the Shanghai and Shenzhen markets. Hen?gtong Optoelectronics, 3C?way Memory, Inventec, and others also had trading values among the top.
