Iran arrests 54 individuals linked to the US and Israel

On March 31, local time, Iran’s intelligence department said that on the same day, in four provinces nationwide, a total of 54 people employed by the United States and Israel were identified and arrested. Of them, 41 were accused of leaking to the Israeli side location information and related data, including checkpoints in Tehran, a defense center, and sensitive facilities. During the operation, law enforcement officers seized three communications devices, a handgun, and a set of “Starlink” satellite internet equipment. According to the notice, Iran’s side dismantled two groups in Fars Province that were described as terrorist organizations, arresting 5 members, successfully preventing them from carrying out an attack plan, and confiscating a large number of homemade explosive devices and cold weapons. In addition, in Gilan Province and Kermanshah Province, the intelligence department arrested 8 people alleged to be associated with the relevant organizations and seized two handguns. (CCTV News)
