Spot Bitcoin ETFs Hit $4.7 Billion Volume as Morgan Stanley Launches

U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs saw trading volume climb above $4.7 billion on April 8, driven by BlackRock's iShares Bitcoin Trust at the top and strong showings from Fidelity and Grayscale.

Morgan Stanley debuted its MSBT fund on NYSE Arca, pulling in $33.9 million—top 1% for ETF launches—with the category's lowest 0.14% expense ratio. The funds now hold over $90 billion in assets since January 2024, signaling rising Wall Street interest as Bitcoin hovered around $71,000.
