Pakistan's Interior Minister meets with U.S. officials to discuss upcoming U.S.-Iran negotiations

ME News message: On April 9 (UTC+8), Pakistan’s Ministry of Interior said on social media that Pakistan’s Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi met with officials from the U.S. Embassy in Pakistan to discuss the current situation in the Middle East region. Both sides welcomed a ceasefire in the regional fighting and discussed the upcoming U.S.-Iran negotiations to be held in Islamabad. U.S. Vice President Vance, U.S. President’s special envoy Witkoov, and former White House senior adviser and Trump’s son-in-law Kushner will attend. Pakistan’s Ministry of Interior also said that Pakistan has developed a comprehensive plan to provide reliable security guarantees for all foreign guests. (Source: ODAILY)
