A one-sentence description of the current market situation couldn't be more accurate: before I had a chance to get on board, the market already left me behind.

This kind of volatile shakeout market is most likely to lead people into two trading misconceptions: one is blindly chasing the rally and ending up trapped; the second is rushing to buy the dip and getting caught in a secondary pullback.

My personal view is that short-term trading should never be impulsive. Patience is key—wait until the market panic is fully released before making trading decisions, and it’s not too late.
