European Central Bank Governing Council: The European Central Bank will discuss raising interest rates and keeping interest rates unchanged.

ME News, April 5 (UTC+8). Jinsi Data reported that Sleepn, a member of the European Central Bank’s Governing Council and President of the Netherlands’ central bank, said in a podcast aired on April 4 that the European Central Bank will next discuss options around raising interest rates and keeping rates unchanged. He believes this will be the focus of the discussion around the ECB’s interest rate decision on April 30. Although new data will be available for reference by then, the amount will be limited. He added: “We are currently, like the Federal Reserve, uncertain about how the interest rate path will develop. But in any case, we will ultimately make a decision based on the data available at that time.” (Source: Jinsi Data)
