On April 9th, the Tether company team announced the launch of QVAC SDK, a fully open, cross-platform software development kit designed to serve as a universal core module for artificial intelligence. In the near future, there will be 10 billion people coexisting with 10 billion autonomous machines and 1 trillion AI agents in one world, a stage that Tether calls the "Era of Stable Intelligence." Tether sees this as creating a foundational layer for the next generation of computing. They view AI as "new elements in the periodic table" — a fundamental raw material that can be embedded into the fabric of the universe, with QVAC serving as the "atomic unit" of this new world. QVAC is a modular, efficient AI platform developed with a focus on locality, capable of running on any device, platform, and operating system, from high-performance industrial servers to microchips in light bulbs. Tether presents AI as a highly complex "modular intelligent system": standardized, stackable, and infinitely scalable. As limitations in edge AI regarding model capabilities and hardware constraints are rapidly diminishing, QVAC is positioned as the first intelligent architecture that can continuously evolve alongside advancements in chip technology, with the ability to adapt and develop over decades, centuries, or even longer.
