Guanghong Holdings ( 000529.SZ ): The subsidiary plans to invest in the construction of Guanghong Holdings Food Intelligent Cold Chain Base Project

Gelonghui April 7th | Guanghong Holdings (000529.SZ) announced that to seize the historical opportunity of the Guangzhou Eastern Public-Railway Intermodal Hub construction and the Greater Bay Area international logistics center, promote Guanghong Holdings’ food cold chain industry transformation and upgrading, and achieve high-quality development of the green food main business, Guangdong Guanghong Holdings Co., Ltd. held its first extraordinary board meeting in 2026 on April 7th, which approved the “Proposal on the Investment and Construction of Guanghong Holdings Food Smart Cold Chain Base by Subsidiaries.” The board agreed that the company’s subsidiary, Guangdong Guanghong Smart Port Industry Operation Management Co., Ltd. (referred to as “Smart Port Company”), would invest in the construction of the Guanghong Holdings Food Smart Cold Chain Base (referred to as “Smart Cold Chain Base” or “Project”) and authorized the company’s management to handle all operations related to the project within a scope not exceeding 1.84 billion yuan.

The Smart Cold Chain Base project is located on the west side of Funing Avenue in Zhongxin Town, Zengcheng District, Guangzhou City, adjacent to the Zengcheng West Station passenger and freight integrated transportation hub, situated in the core area of Guangzhou’s eastern public-railway intermodal hub. The project aims to build a “one-stop” food procurement base and urban safe food supply central hub in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, integrating food exhibition and trade, smart cold chain, and technological innovation incubation. The planned cold storage capacity is 118.7k tons, and upon reaching full capacity, it can achieve a rapid sorting and distribution capacity of over 1 million tons of frozen fresh food annually.
