According to Bloomberg, Intel stated that to promote its technology in data centers, Google, a subsidiary of Alphabet Inc., has pledged to adopt its next-generation Xeon processors and other chips in the future. Under a multi-year partnership announced on Thursday, the search engine giant will customize Intel's IPU (Infrastructure Processing Unit), which is responsible for networking, security, and storage functions. Neither side disclosed financial details or specific procurement commitments.
