The Counter-Terrorism Bureau of the Kurdistan Region in Iraq (KRG) issued a statement on the 7th, saying that a drone from Iran attacked a civilian home in the KRG’s Erbil Province on the same day, resulting in the deaths of 2 civilians. The statement said that at around 00:15 a.m. local time on the 7th, an explosive-laden drone struck a civilian home in the Dala Shakran area of Erbil Province, killing a couple. The statement strongly condemned the attack, saying it violated international law.

On February 28, the United States and Israel launched a large-scale military operation against Iran, and Iran retaliated against targets including Israel and U.S. military bases in the Middle East. The fighting continues to this day. ( Xinhua News Agency )
