International oil prices edged up slightly on the 18th. By the close of that day, the light crude oil futures price for April delivery on the New York Mercantile Exchange rose by 11 cents, closing at $96.32 per barrel, a 0.11% increase; the London Brent crude oil futures price for May delivery increased by $3.96, closing at $107.38 per barrel, a 3.83% increase.
