The opposition party demands that the Japanese government apologize for the incident where Self-Defense Forces members forcibly entered the Chinese embassy.

On March 31 local time, Yuichiro Tamaki, the leader of Japan’s Democratic Party, stated at a press conference that the Japanese government should apologize for the Japanese Self-Defense Forces’ forcible entry into the Chinese Embassy in Japan. Tamaki emphasized that the intrusion of Self-Defense Forces personnel into the Chinese Embassy in Japan is a serious incident that should not have occurred. Ensuring the safety of diplomatic embassies is Japan’s responsibility. For failing to fulfill this responsibility, the Japanese government should apologize. (CCTV News)
