The Japanese stock market may rise as the market continues to hope that the United States will soon end its military actions in Iran. Nikkei index futures rose 0.4% on the Singapore Exchange, to 54,345 points. Investors will focus on the speech given by U.S. President Trump regarding this war, as well as any measures taken by the Japanese government to respond to the Middle East conflict and high energy prices. The Nikkei index increased 5.2% on Wednesday, to 53,739.68 points, marking the largest percentage gain in a year.
