Where you build matters greatly.

I have talked to many great teams in the which built great products but unfortunately they did it on Cosmos or Polkadot so it never really took off. At one point in time I was bullish on ATOM myself - the tech was good but as usual once you have a token things go bad.
Your idea doesn’t matter - if no one uses the chain you build on you will have a hard time getting users and investors will rightfully ask why you chose to built there in the first place.
