Canary Capital Submits Pepe ETF to the SEC, Meme Coin

Canary Capital officially files a registration document S-1 with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) to launch the Canary Pepe ETF. This move marks the asset manager's first effort to bring the popular Ethereum-based meme coin to the U.S. capital markets, aiming to provide Pepe (PEPE) price exposure directly to institutional investors through a structured investment vehicle.
This submission reflects the increasing legitimacy of speculative crypto assets amid rising market demand for crypto-based investment instruments beyond Bitcoin and Ethereum. If approved, this ETF will allow investors to trade PEPE value on traditional stock exchanges without needing to manage digital wallets independently, while also strengthening the position of meme coins within the mainstream financial ecosystem.
