American electric vehicle manufacturer Lucid Group plans to launch three mid-sized electric cars with starting prices of around $50,000. The first model, “Cosmos,” is expected to make its debut within this year. This batch of new vehicles will help Lucid reach a broader audience.

The company has for the first time showcased the design concept of a two-seat autonomous taxi, and plans to roll out an autonomous driving software subscription service priced at $69 to $199 per month at the beginning of 2027. The goal is to provide vehicles with autonomous driving capabilities under specific conditions by 2029.

Lucid expects to achieve positive free cash flow before 2030 by pushing the model lineup down to more accessible tiers, expanding into Europe and the Saudi market, and increasing revenue from software subscription services (targeting $1 billion in annual non-vehicle revenue).
