On April 7, reporters learned from the China Development Bank that the China Development Bank has earnestly implemented the requirements of the “Notice of the People’s Bank of China on Arrangements for Implementing a One-Time Credit Repair Policy.” As of the end of March this year, a total of 133k national student loan borrowers have benefited from the one-time credit repair policy. In December last year, the People’s Bank of China publicly released arrangements related to the one-time credit repair policy. It is introduced that for national student loans handled by the China Development Bank, if the overdue occurred between January 1, 2020, and December 31, 2025, with a single contract overdue principal and interest not exceeding 10k yuan, and the borrower has fully repaid the overdue principal and interest by March 31 of this year (inclusive), they can receive a one-time credit repair.
