Today, at a press conference held by the Ministry of Education, it was announced that the plan focuses on empowering teachers through artificial intelligence throughout the entire teaching process before, during, and after class, strengthening the application of intelligent teaching systems to reduce teachers’ workload and improve efficiency; assisting teachers with homework management, promoting intelligent grading, Q&A, and tutoring; using intelligent technology to analyze classroom teaching behaviors to help teachers improve teaching quality. Additionally, according to the action plan, artificial intelligence will also be used to empower student learning, educational governance, and scientific research, building and optimizing the foundational environment and development ecosystem for “Artificial Intelligence + Education.” By 2030, a comprehensive education system covering all educational stages and general education for society will be established through interconnected vertical and horizontal networks.
