Minmetals Development: Chairman Wei Tao resigns due to work transfer reasons

People’s Finance News, April 8 — Minmetals Development (600058) announced on April 8 that the company’s board of directors recently received a resignation letter from Chairman Wei Tao. Due to work transfer reasons, Wei Tao applied to the board to resign from his positions as director, chairman, and director of the Strategic Committee of the Board. According to relevant regulations, Wei Tao’s resignation takes effect upon delivery to the board. During the vacancy of the company’s chairman position, all directors unanimously elected Director and General Manager Li Zhicong to temporarily perform the duties of chairman, director of the Strategic Committee of the Board, and legal representative.
