ME News, April 5 (UTC+8): the Office for International Fugitive Recovery and Cross-Border Corruption Governance under the Central Anti-Corruption Coordination Group held a meeting to launch the “Sky Net 2026” initiative. Among them, the National Supervisory Commission will take the lead in conducting a special campaign to pursue and recover illicit assets overseas and mitigate losses arising from dereliction-of-duty-related crimes; the Ministry of Public Security will carry out the “Fox Hunt” special operation; the People’s Bank of China, together with the Ministry of Public Security, will conduct a special campaign to prevent and combat the transfer of illicit funds abroad through offshore companies and underground banks; and the Organization Department of the CPC Central Committee, together with the Ministry of Public Security and the National Immigration Administration, will do a good job in managing “naked officials” in their posts and addressing issues in which public officials violate regulations by going abroad (overseas) for private reasons, among other work.
