ME News Report, April 10 (UTC+8), according to Hyperinsight monitoring, after BTC price rebounded above $72k, a whale starting with 0x2fc was liquidated twice last night at 11 PM while holding 40x leveraged BTC short positions, totaling 423.4 BTC liquidated, approximately $30.5 million, with a single liquidation of $24.4 million, making it the largest single liquidation address in the past 24 hours. This short position was opened at 5 PM yesterday.
After liquidation, the address immediately reopened a 40x leveraged BTC short with a very narrow liquidation line, totaling 176 BTC, about $12.83 million, and was liquidated again at 7 AM this morning, once again becoming the largest liquidation address today.
The two rounds of liquidation totaled over $43.3 million, with a recorded loss of $580k.
Currently, this address has opened a third 40x leveraged short, but after two rounds of liquidation, its funds have been significantly depleted, now only able to support opening 67 BTC shorts, approximately $4.85 million, with a liquidation price of $72,669.
