Trump wrote on social media: “Iran can start the reconstruction process. We will ship all kinds of supplies, and ‘stay there’ to ensure everything goes smoothly.”

Trump also claimed that this will be the “Golden Age of the Middle East.”

According to U.S. sources on the 7th, Iran and Oman will charge transit fees for the Strait of Hormuz. This news has not yet been confirmed by Iran’s official authorities.

Earlier, Iranian Foreign Minister Araghchi issued a statement on behalf of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council, saying that ships that pass with coordination with Iran’s armed forces can safely transit the Strait of Hormuz within two weeks.

The statement issued by Iran’s Supreme National Security Council does not include the collection of transit fees for the Strait of Hormuz. Iran has also released 10 ceasefire terms submitted to the U.S. through Pakistan, and these do not include any mention of transit fees for the Strait of Hormuz.

On April 8, local time, Iran’s Supreme National Security Council, in a statement, congratulated all Iranian people on the victory and emphasized that before the details of the victory are finally realized, officials still need resilience and strategy, and the Iranian people must remain united.

The statement said the U.S. has, in principle, committed to fulfilling the following obligations:

Guarantee that no further military action will be carried out;

Acknowledge Iran’s continued control over the Strait of Hormuz;

Accept Iran’s uranium enrichment activities;

Lift all sanctions at levels one and two against Iran;

Terminate all relevant resolutions of the UN Security Council and the International Atomic Energy Agency’s Board of Governors;

Pay compensation for losses caused to Iran;

Withdraw U.S. combat forces from the region;

Stop military action on all fronts.

Iran’s Supreme National Security Council congratulated all Iranian people on this victory and once again emphasized that before the final details of victory are settled, officials’ decision-making and the cooperation and unity of the public are crucial.

The statement said that over the past 40 days, Iran fought side by side with Lebanon, Iraq, Yemen, and others, dealing the enemy a heavy blow. Now, besides surrendering to Iran, the enemy has no way out.

UN Secretary-General welcomes two-week ceasefire between the U.S. and Iran

On April 7, local time, UN Secretary-General Guterres issued a statement through his spokesperson welcoming the two-week ceasefire announced by the United States and Iran, and calling on all parties in the Middle East conflict to comply with their obligations under international law, implement the ceasefire arrangements, and create conditions for achieving lasting peace in the region.

The statement noted that the Secretary-General welcomes the two-week ceasefire announced by the U.S. and Iran, emphasizing that all parties should follow the ceasefire terms to pave the way for lasting and comprehensive peace in the region.
