Gasoline prices account for nearly three-quarters of the increase in the US CPI.

Mars Finance reports that on April 10th, the seasonally unadjusted U.S. March CPI year-over-year rate was 3.3%, with nearly three-quarters of the U.S. CPI increase attributed to rising gasoline prices. (Jin10)
