Inner Mongolia: Support data centers to carry out direct green power connections

People’s Financial News, April 8 — The People’s Government of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region has issued the “Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region ‘Artificial Intelligence+’ Action Implementation Plan (2026–2028).” The plan proposes to support the construction of a new energy system. To build a clean, low-carbon, safe, and efficient new energy system, and to enhance the level of artificial intelligence innovation and application technology in the energy sector. In areas such as power equipment condition assessment and intelligent operation and maintenance, smart optimization of green hydrogen production processes, and smart operation of station sites—areas that highlight the advantages and characteristics of the autonomous energy industry—support the development of equipment management intelligent agents with autonomous perception, decision-making, and execution capabilities. Construct an intelligent regulation system covering the entire chain of hydrogen electrolysis, hydrogen storage, and hydrogen utilization, and promote the development of intelligent operation and maintenance for new energy sources. Support data centers in directly connecting to green electricity loads.
