CertiK: Since 2026, nearly $800 million in security losses, with approximately 42% related to North Korea

ME News Report, April 10 (UTC+8), according to CertiK Alert monitoring, since January 1, 2026, a total of 163 security incidents have been recorded, with a total loss of approximately $796.7 million. Among them, at least 12 incidents are related to North Korea, involving Step Finance, Bitrefill, Drift Protocol, and others, with losses of about $329 million, accounting for roughly 42% of the total losses. In comparison, losses related to North Korea in 2025 accounted for about 60% of the total losses. (Source: Foresight News)
