China Railway Signal & Communication Corporation's Xi'an Industrial Group wins bids for the Chongqing–Chengdu Central Line high-speed railway signal and switch equipment procurement and other projects

China Railway Signal & Communication Corporation’s Xi’an Industrial Group has successively won bids for the Chengdu–Chongqing Central Line High-Speed Railway signal switch equipment procurement project and the Haro Railway axle-counting system upgrade and renovation project. Among them, the Chengdu–Chongqing Central Line High-Speed Railway is a key link in the national “Eight Vertical and Eight Horizontal” high-speed rail network along the riverside corridor. The total length of the main line is 292 kilometers, the designed speed is 350 kilometers per hour, and it has provisions for operation at 400 kilometers per hour—making it the first high-speed railway in China designed with a reserved 400 kilometers per hour operating speed. In view of the extremely high requirements for reliability, accuracy, and safety of the project’s signaling system, Xi’an Industrial Group will provide high-performance switch machine acceleration devices.
