CoinWorld News reports that Optimism has announced that agents and DApps can now request wallet execution permissions on the OP mainnet. Currently, MetaMask supports developers using the ERC-7715 standard to request this permission. As a permission-based token standard, ERC-7715 allows users to have more granular control over wallet operations for DApps and agents. This update expands the functional scope of applications on the Optimism network, enabling the construction of complex permission models beyond basic transaction approval.
