Worldcoin ($WLD), one of the projects attracting attention in the cryptocurrency market, has received an important update regarding its tokenomics. According to the World Community announcement, a significant reduction in the token unlock rate is planned. The announcement states that as of April 10, 2026, the total number of $WLD tokens is 10 billion, of which 4.9 billion (49%) are unlocked, and approximately 3.3 billion tokens are in circulation. At the project launch on July 24, 2023, 500 million $WLD tokens were unlocked from the global community distribution. The remaining 9.5 billion tokens are gradually released through a daily linear mechanism with the goal of completing this process 15 years after launch.
