Galaxy Futures: Iran's Strikes on Middle Eastern Energy Facilities Drive Liquefied Gas Prices Up

LNG has recently fluctuated along with oil prices. As the conflict intensifies, Iran’s strikes on Middle Eastern energy facilities have driven oil prices to high levels and pushed up the cost-driven LNG prices. At the same time, this has also substantially reduced LNG production. However, high import costs and the lack of Middle Eastern gas will also lead to negative feedback from the demand side. Future attention should be paid to the passage situation in the Strait of Hormuz. (Galaxy Futures)
