Reporters learned from Iran that on April 7 local time, Iran’s Hormuz Island was attacked again, and multiple explosions were heard. On March 14, the U.S. Central Command said that on the evening of the 13th, the U.S. military carried out a large-scale strike on Iran’s Hormuz Island, successfully striking more than 90 military targets on the island. The U.S. military destroyed military targets such as Iran’s naval mine storage facilities and missile storage bunkers, but “retained” oil infrastructure. Iran’s oil export hub, Hormuz Island, is located in the northwest of the Persian Gulf, about 25 kilometers from the Iranian coast, and is Iran’s largest crude oil export base, with 90% of Iran’s crude oil exported from here.
