According to the Guangdong Branch of the General Administration of Customs, in the first two months of this year, the import and export volume of the nine cities in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area reached 1.57 trillion yuan, an increase of 22.4% compared to the same period last year (same below), outpacing the national import and export growth rate by 4.1 percentage points, accounting for 20.4% of the country’s total foreign trade value, contributing 24.1% to the national foreign trade growth. Among them, exports totaled 1.01 trillion yuan, an increase of 22.7%; imports reached 565.01 billion yuan, an increase of 22%. (CCTV News)
