Sina Technology News, March 31st — Huawei announced today the “Notice on the Company’s Rotating Chairman on Duty.” According to the company’s rotating chairman system, Wang Tao will serve as the rotating chairman from April 1, 2026, to September 30, 2026, presiding over the company’s board of directors and executive committee.

The information shows that Wang Tao graduated from Xi’an Jiaotong University with a master’s degree. He joined Huawei in 1997 and has held positions including President of Product Marketing for the Europe region, General Manager of Huawei Italy & Switzerland subsidiaries, President of Wireless Network Product Line, President of Network Product Line, President of ICT Strategy and Marketing, President of ICT Products and Solutions, Director of the Product Investment Review Committee, and Director of the ICT Infrastructure Business Management Committee. He currently serves as Vice Chairman of the company and rotating chairman.
