Iran claims to have used drones to strike technology companies within Israel.
On March 31st local time, the Iranian military issued a statement saying that in response to attacks by Israel and the United States on Iranian infrastructure, starting from early that morning, Iran deployed attack drones to strike Siemens’ facilities located at Ben-Gurion International Airport in Israel and in the Haifa region, as well as the communications, telecommunications, and industrial centers of American Telephone and Telegraph Company. The statement indicated that the Siemens industrial software center located in central Israel (around Ben-Gurion Airport) provides Israel’s military with cutting-edge technologies such as artificial intelligence and industrial automation, used to optimize weapon production lines and military design systems. The American Telephone and Telegraph Company’s telecommunications center in Haifa is an American research and development center that provides advanced network technology, cloud computing, and artificial intelligence services to the Israeli military.
