🔥The US-Iran negotiations began today in Islamabad, with the Strait of Hormuz deadlock unresolved

On April 11, US Vice President Vance and Iranian Speaker of Parliament Kalibaf led delegations in talks in Pakistan. Trump expressed optimism about the outcome, saying it would be clear within 24 hours. Iran proposed two conditions: a ceasefire in Lebanon and the unfreezing of assets, taking a firm stance; the armed forces simultaneously announced they remain fully prepared for combat. Regarding the Strait of Hormuz, ships passing through in the past 24 hours remain few, and the White House admits it is difficult to fully reopen in the short term. The UK has begun convening an international conference to promote a multilateral solution. Meanwhile, the Israeli military continues airstrikes in southern Lebanon, and whether the Lebanon-Israel ceasefire negotiations can be held as scheduled on the 14th remains disputed. The direction of the negotiations is the most critical variable, and the outcome is expected to be revealed today.
