On March 31st local time, the Israel Defense Forces issued a statement saying that over the past day, the Israeli Air Force carried out strikes on 20 weapons production facilities and research sites inside Iran. The IDF stated that during a round of airstrikes earlier that day, Israeli fighter jets dropped about 80 bombs on multiple targets, including facilities used for producing key components of ballistic missile engines, sites conducting missile engine tests, and a missile defense system manufacturing base. The IDF previously announced plans to complete strikes on all “key” assets within Iran’s military production system the following day. Additionally, the IDF said that the airstrikes that day also targeted infrastructure related to the Iranian Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps’ Aerospace Force headquarters in Tehran, as well as ballistic missile launch and storage facilities, missile defense systems, and other targets.
