Just saw that one of the Centra Tech co-founders, Sarbhai Sharma, got hit with 8 years in prison for crypto fraud. Wild that these cases are still coming through - thought we'd moved past the early days of obvious scams.

Centra Tech was one of those projects that promised the world back then. Sarbhai Sharma and the team were pushing hard on their crypto card concept, but it turned out to be basically a house of cards. The whole thing unraveled when regulators started digging in.

It's honestly a reminder of how messy the early crypto space was. Sarbhai Sharma's case is one of the bigger fraud convictions we've seen - 8 years is serious time. Makes you think about all the projects that were running similar playbooks back then.

Anyone else remember when Centra was getting hyped? Feels like forever ago now.
