AI designs proteins capable of recognizing specific compounds

Mars Finance News reported on April 13 that the Department of Biological Sciences at Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology, in collaboration with the Protein Design Institute at the University of Washington in Seattle, USA, relied on artificial intelligence (AI) technology to achieve de novo protein design and create engineered proteins that can specifically recognize target compounds. The related results were published in the latest issue of Nature Communications. (Science and Technology Daily)
