Techub News reports, according to The Wall Street Journal, informed officials revealed that after the marathon peace talks held in Islamabad failed to reach an agreement, countries in the region are competing to push the U.S. and Iran back to the negotiating table. These officials stated that despite both the U.S. and Iran issuing tough statements, the diplomatic doors remain open, and a second round of talks could be held within days. They also said that regional countries are negotiating with the U.S. to ensure the extension of the fragile two-week ceasefire announced on Tuesday night. Officials indicated that Iranian officials have proposed "alternative suggestions," including continuing symbolic uranium enrichment activities or reducing their uranium stockpile, but the two sides have not reached a compromise.
