They also said that regional countries are negotiating with the U.S. to ensure the extension of the fragile two-week ceasefire announced on Tuesday night. Officials indicated that Iranian officials have proposed "alternative suggestions," including continuing symbolic uranium enrichment activities or reducing their uranium stockpile, but the two sides have not reached a compromise.
