Some of these tools even allow you to download stories if you want to save something. The main thing is to choose trusted sites and never enter your password there.

There’s also a simpler option — create a second account with a different name and follow from it. Then you can view stories freely, and your main profile stays hidden. It works for both public and private accounts if the person accepts the follow request.

It’s interesting that Instagram didn’t officially provide an option to view stories anonymously, but people have found many ways to do it. But there’s an ethical point — if you download someone else’s stories, remember their privacy. No reposting without permission; it’s not ours.
