South Korea says North Korea's launch of unidentified projectiles failed; Pyongyang has not responded yet.

The South Korean Joint Chiefs of Staff reported on the 8th local time that on the 7th, North Korea launched an unidentified projectile eastward from the area around Pyongyang, but the projectile experienced abnormal conditions during the initial phase of the launch and was ultimately burned. The South Korean Joint Chiefs of Staff said that the South Korea–U.S. intelligence agencies are analyzing the detailed parameters of this projectile. North Korea has not responded yet. (CCTV News)
