ME News report. On April 11 (UTC+8), the local time on the 11th, Iranian government spokesperson Mohajerani said that Iran has dispatched a diplomatic team led by the Speaker of Parliament, Kalibaf, to take part in U.S.-Iran negotiations, which shows Iran’s willingness to engage in dialogue. She emphasized that, as the Iranian president previously said, Iran will conduct negotiations in a “finger on the trigger” state. Although the Iranian side is willing to talk, it lacks trust in the other party; therefore, Iran’s diplomatic team will participate in the negotiations with the utmost caution. Mohajerani hopes that under the guidance of the Supreme Leader, Iran’s negotiating team will achieve success. (Source: ChainCatcher)
