#GateSquareAprilPostingChallenge The President of the United States (US) Donald Trump threatened to completely close the Strait of Hormuz to ships wishing to cross it in the near term. This happened after negotiations between the US and Iran failed to reach an agreement.
“The United States Navy, the best in the world, will begin the process of BLOCKING all Ships attempting to enter or leave the Strait of Hormuz,” he said, citing his personal Truth Social account on Monday (13/04).
According to him, in the result of his negotiations with Tehran there was one point that Iran did not approve, namely the nuclear deal. Thus, it made Trump furious.
Interestingly, Trump said that the air and naval military forces, as well as most of Iran’s leaders including Mojtaba Khamenei, had been wiped out by his forces.
This incident creates uncertainty for the market, especially oil prices, which also affects stocks and crypto.
