#GateSquareAprilPostingChallenge President of the United States (US) Donald Trump threatened to completely close the Strait of Hormuz for ships that want to pass through it in the near future. This happened after negotiations between the US and Iran failed to reach an agreement.
“U.S. Navy, the best in the world, will begin the process of BLOCKING all ships trying to enter or exit the Strait of Hormuz,” he said, citing his personal Truth Social account on Monday (13/04).
According to him, there is one point in his negotiation with Tehran that was not approved by Iran, namely the nuclear deal. Therefore, this made Trump furious.
Interestingly, Trump mentioned that air and naval military forces, as well as most Iranian leaders including Mojtaba Khamenei, were successfully eliminated by his forces.
This incident creates uncertainty for the market, especially oil prices, which also affects stocks and crypto.
