I just saw the match summary, and Ireland crushed Scotland, 43-21. Literally, the Irish team went into blowout mode in the last minutes; it was brutal. The interesting thing is that now Ireland's entire campaign depends on a miracle: they need England to beat France in Paris for them to lift the Six Nations trophy. That's how tight everything is.

Scotland was coming in with real chances of winning the championship, but well, they fell short again. Townsend's team always goes far in these tournaments but never seals the deal. They haven't won the tournament in years, since 1999. Meanwhile, Ireland, after a somewhat weak start, recovered and is now at the top, with 19 points. France and Scotland follow with 16 each.

The match was back and forth, especially in the first 20 minutes when four tries were scored. Ireland played with more intensity in contact and was lethal in attack. Scotland fought but made mistakes that cost them. Still, if England surprises France over in Paris, Ireland stays alive. If not, France takes everything. We'll see what happens.
