Quick report data shows that during the 39 days of the Spring Festival travel season (February 2 to March 12, 2026), Guangzhou Baiyun Airport handled a total of 10.19 million passengers, becoming the first airport nationwide to exceed 283.4k passengers during Spring Festival travel, setting a new record. Baiyun Airport stated that this year is the first Spring Festival travel season after the opening of Terminal 3, with the airport handling 283.4k and 286.4k passengers on February 22 and February 23 respectively, continuously breaking the airport’s single-day passenger flow record.
