Choosing cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Tron really is confusing, isn’t it? Lately, altcoins like Dogecoin have been getting attention too, so it’s difficult to judge which ones have real future potential and whether now is the right time to buy. So, I compared popular cryptocurrencies by their price movements over the past 1 year, market capitalization, and downside risk, etc.
Tron is at the top of the future potential ranking. There’s strong demand for it as a base for stablecoin transfers, and it’s also expanding as a payment infrastructure in emerging countries. It’s also noteworthy that it’s risen by about 9% in 30 days. Number 2 is, after all, Bitcoin. It’s often valued as “digital gold,” and it has a tendency to be bought when there’s financial uncertainty. However, since it’s down -16.85% over 1 year, a long-term perspective is needed.
Third is Litecoin, fourth is Cardano, and fifth is Build and Build (BNB) as well—they’re all recognized for their staying power in declining periods. BNB is a token tied to the economic ecosystem of a certain major exchange, and there are many real-world cases where it’s actually used through fees and service usage. But over 1 year, it’s basically flat at -0.22%.
As for Avalanche and XRP, which are lower ranked, it’s harder to gauge their future potential because their market caps are smaller or they’ve fallen a lot over 1 year, so it’s important to observe them in the medium term. Chainlink and Dogecoin have a certain level of durability, but they’ve dropped by more than -33% over 1 year. With coins like this, I think you should judge only after watching how the overall market is moving well.
In conclusion, the future potential of cryptocurrencies tends to be determined by each coin’s real-world utility and the level of market trust. It’s important not only to look at short-term price fluctuations, but also to see whether that coin is truly being used and whether it has technical strengths. Please make investment decisions only after doing thorough research on your own.
