Crypto News, April 13th (UTC+8), the Hong Kong police stated on the "Guardian" platform that a woman in Hong Kong was scammed in a crypto scam, losing over 2 million HKD. The scammers actively followed a woman in her fifties on Instagram and initiated contact through comments, quickly establishing a romantic relationship by showing concern and care. They then claimed to be "crypto investment experts" to lure her into a trap. The scammers first persuaded her to transfer 40,000 HKD as a fee to open an investment website account, then asked her to go to physical exchange stores seven times to convert cash into USDT, and transfer the USDT to the other party via electronic wallets. Once the funds were received, the other party immediately disappeared.
